Honoree Bio
Jeffrey Freed
Jeffrey has over 30 years of professional experience in the investment business having begun his career in the private equity industry in 1985. He is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arlington Capital Partners. Jeffrey holds both BS and BA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, having graduated, magna cum laude, from the undergraduate Wharton School of Business and College of Arts and Sciences. Jeffrey also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jeffrey is active in both Jewish and other philanthropic causes, including as a longstanding Board Member of Youth Renewal Fund (including its predecessor The Youth Renewal Fund) and the Ethan H Freed Winadu Scholarship Fund, which provides academic scholarships. He is on the Rabbinical Council at Washington Hebrew Congregation and the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of The Landon School where his sons attended, and is an active supporter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
Jeffrey has been married for 26 years to his wife Susan and has three sons, Adam, Alex and Ethan. The Freed’s reside in Bethesda, Maryland.
