Meet the Honoree
Jamie Schweid
Jamie Schweid is the President and CEO of Schweid & Sons, Inc., a family-owned multi-generational business leading purveyor of premium ground beef and pork products for restaurants and retail. For the past 20 years at the company, Jamie has worked to push Schweid & Sons into new strategic growth verticals while diversifying the company’s product offerings.
Jamie attended Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating with a BS in Finance from the Kelly School of Business. He has been an active member of Kid Care, an organization that teamed up with Homes for the homeless and is dedicated to working with the underprivileged and the homeless. Jamie also is a member of the Young Professionals Organization (YPO) and is an active Board Member of Youth Renewal Fund, the philanthropic and strategic funding partner for the Darca network of schools in Israel, which operates 42 charter schools in Israel.
He is married to Rachel Schweid, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud father to daughter Taylor, and son Jordan.
