Gamification is one of the many ways in which Darca is taking the world of education by storm. Darca’s pedagogical experts have recognized the importance in making learning both fun and education and the first-t0-market Escape Room is a perfect example.
Drawing from the experience games across the world, Escape Rooms mimic the urgent manner in which participants have to solve a series of puzzles and clues to get out of the room before time runs out.
Students at Darca schools get a similar experience when they step into one of Darca’s special Escape Rooms. Questions range in subjects from math to history and urge students to work together in teams to navigate their way through the challenges of the room. One question may have the students scanning QR codes on their phone to learn about the ancient history of Israel while another question requires the students to solve a complex algebra problem, with the answer for “x” being on of the numbers that will unlock their box and help them “escape.”
Similar to many of Darca’s pedagogical initiatives the escape rooms are a scale-able model that can be replicated across the network, bringing this incredible opportunity to thousands of students across Israel.
